Self-described as Rock: Folk-Rock with lots of words, Simon and Garfunkel comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It has been ten years Simon and Garfunkel’ last studio CD, “The Graduate” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Simon and Garfunkel’s new album to that on ‘The Graduate’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. To me Simon and Garfunkel is the best band ever.
Sunporch Cha-Cha-Cha - Dave Grusin - My least favorite song on this album. On the Strip - Dave Grusin - I just love it. I love the melodic melody of Folks - Dave Grusin and to this day it makes me feel good. Great Effect - Dave Grusin very upbeat. The song Whew - Simon & Garfunkel ending is my favorite… so catchy! Lead single “Born at the right time” and “Me & Julio down by the school yard” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. When you buy a Paul Simon album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Paul Simon was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Paul Simon and Unplugged together. Check it every song is worth the money for the Unplugged CD!
Me & Julio down by the school yard - A catchy, upbeat tune. Graceland good vocals. Still crazy after all these years (3:34) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Mrs. Robinson - I like this one.

This disc has all of the essential Kasey Chambers classics. While no new Kasey Chambers album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in Africa. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Kasey Chambers’s new album to that on ‘The Captain’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Another great offering from Kasey Chambers.
When I listen to The Captain in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This Flower (2:51) - awsome. You Got This Car - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. These Pines is a bit of a show-tune. Don’t Talk Back one is one of the better boring ones.

‘History’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. History isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Mexico charts, superstar America’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. History is the best essence of America.

one years ago, Jefferson Airplane briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Good Shepherd”. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jefferson Airplane energies, virtually a rebirth. Volunteers is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Overall, I would highly recommend Volunteers CD.
Good Shepherd very upbeat. The Farm - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Jefferson Airplane must have run out of lyrics on the next track Hey Fredrick. Turn My Life Down has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.

On the Canada charts, superstar John Prine’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. John Prine’s debut, ‘Fair and Square’, does not fit easily into one genre. Now signed to John Prine’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Fair and Square” leads John Prine’s back-to-school campaign.
