This is the first studio album from Clannad since bad diagnosis in 1984. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Clannad energies, virtually a rebirth. Since completing 1984’s ‘Robin (The Hooded Man)’, Clannad fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Overall, I would highly recommend Legend CD.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Herne - Clannad first major hit. Together We - This is a very lively song. Darkmere - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.

Since Clannad last CD (In Concert) on Blue Note Records back in 1978, I have felt a massive void in my life. ‘In Concert’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I am not a real Folk: British music type of person, but i have to admit ‘In Concert’ really is amazing. One of Clannad’s best albums yet.
First time I heard Fairies Hornpipe Off was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Neansai Mhile Gra is worth the money. Mhaire Bruineall - A nice song.

On Fuaim album, Clannad have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke . . .’ school of songwriting. Self-described as Folk: British with lots of words, Clannad comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Clannad. I wish that “Fuaim” album was instrumental.
Mheall Si Lena Glorthai Me - My least favorite song on this album. Bruach Na Carriage Baine - Clannad first major hit. La Brea Fan Dtuath great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.An Tull good vocals. Strayed Away - To me, this is the best song on the Fuaim.

This disc has all of the essential Clannad classics. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Clannad. It has been three years Clannad’ last studio CD, “Anam” which won Array Emmy® Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is what good Folk: British should be.
In A Lifetime - A classic Clannad track. Anam - To me, this is the best song on the Anam. I love the melodic melody of In Fortune’s Hand and to this day it makes me feel good. The song The Poison Glen ending is my favorite… so catchy! Wilderness is a bit of a show-tune.

It’s natural for Clannad to take a stab at ‘An Gleann’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. On Landmarks album, Clannad have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke . . .’ school of songwriting. Landmarks carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Great Folk: British right here!
Fado’ great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.A Mhuirni’n O - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Of This Land - A strong beat. Court To Love (3:51) - awsome.

After seeing Caislean Oir, I had to have a good Clannad cd. While no new Clannad album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1985 tour in North America. Macalla carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is one of Clannad best albums
The Wild Cry - A catchy, upbeat tune. Once Closer To Your Heart gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. In A Lifetime - arguably the best track on Macalla album. Almost Seems (Too Late To Turn) - A classic Clannad track.

There were many famous songs of Clannad available. There is so much to love about Clannad, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is one of the best Cd’s Clannad has dropped to date. Sirius is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Second Nature great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Once Turning Tide gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Skellig - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Stepping Stone one is one of the better boring ones.

It has been thirteen years Nick Drake’ last studio CD, “Bryter Layter” which won Array Academy Awards® and was nominated for album of the year. While no new Nick Drake album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1970 tour in South America. Since Nick Drake last CD (Bryter Layter) on Columbia Records back in 1970, I have felt a massive void in my life. Another great offering from Nick Drake.
Hazy Jane II one of the best in my collection. At The Chime Of A City Clock - another great track from the Bryter Layter album. One Of These Things First very upbeat. Hazey Jane I one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.

Barclay James Harvest’s debut, ‘Victims Of Circumstance’, does not fit easily into one genre. Victims Of Circumstance isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Barclay James Harvest to take a stab at ‘Sideshow’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. Smart music for smart people.
Hold On great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Rebel Woman - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Say You’ll Stay - This one is lively and fun. For Your Love is a bit of a show-tune.
