After seeing Adam, I had to have a good Victor Wooten cd. Since Victor Wooten last CD (Soul Circus) on Capitol Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. John Digester has compared writing for Victor Wooten’s new album to that on ‘Soul Circus’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Smart music for smart people.
Victa - Victor Wooten first major hit. Bass Tribute - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Prayer - My least favorite song on this album. Natives - This one is lively and fun. Can’t Hide Love - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Stay (4:56) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! On and On (Saundra) I just LOVE this mix!
