There is no doubt that Type O Negative has talent. Lead single “Hope It Wasn’t Too Disappointing” and “Haunted” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Type O Negative has. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Haunted is a bit of a show-tune. Wolf Moon (Including Zoanthropic Paranoia) - To me, this is the best song on the October Rust. The Glorious Liberation Of The People’s Technocratic Republic Of Vinnland By The Combined Forces… - a classic song. Cinnamon Girl - A classic Type O Negative track. In Praise Of Bacchus - This one makes me want to not only sing along. The song Burnt Flowers Fallen ending is my favorite… so catchy! Die With Me - This is a very lively song.
