Quick One carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. thirteen years ago, The Who briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Boris the Spider”. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Boris the Spider
Boris the Spider - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I Need You has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Whiskey Man - To me, this is the best song on the Quick One. Heat Wave - I like this one. Cobwebs and Strange - A nice song. Don’t Look Away - A strong beat. See My Way - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. So Sad About Us is worth the money. Quick One While He’s Away is a bit of a show-tune.
