My Generation isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since completing 1965’s ‘Out In The Street’, The Who fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s natural for The Who to take a stab at ‘Out In The Street’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
I Don’t Mind - arguably the best track on My Generation album. The Goods Gone is another favourite of mine. La La La Lies - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Once Much Too Much gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. My Generation - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
