Since Misfits last CD (Cuts From the Crypt) on SixSteps records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. It has been eight years Misfits’ last studio CD, “Cuts From the Crypt” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “1,000,000 Years BC” and “Blacklight (Demo)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is a scorcher!
Blacklight (Demo) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Bruiser one is one of the better boring ones. Dead Kings Rise (Demo) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Devil Doll - This is a very lively song. Dr. Phibes Rises Again (Demo) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Fiend Without a Face - I just love it. Helena 2 - A classic Misfits track. Once I Got a Right gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
