Since Mat Kearney last CD (Nothing Left to Lose) on SixSteps records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Mat Kearney, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album is in perfect progression from Mat Kearney!
When I listen to Where We Gonna Go From Here in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. First time I heard Renaissance was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Bullet - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. All I Need has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. What’s A Boy To Do is a bit of a show-tune. Wait - To me, this is the best song on the Nothing Left to Lose.
