After debuting at No. 1 last week, Manu Chao’s album Clandestino falls to No. 2 with 300,000, a sales slide of 66%. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Manu Chao on ‘Clandestino’. On the Ireland charts, superstar Manu Chao’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. To me Manu Chao is the best band ever.
Desaparecido is a bit of a show-tune. When I listen to Bongo Bong in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Je Ne T’aime Plus - This one is lively and fun. Mentira… - A catchy, upbeat tune. Lagrimas De Oro - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Mama Call - This is a very lively song. I love the melodic melody of Luna Y Sol and to this day it makes me feel good.
