On the Jamaica charts, superstar John Williams’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Lead single “Main Title and First Victim” and “Empty Raft” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Main Title and First Victim and Empty Raft. Jaws is not something you should pass up.
Empty Raft (1:24) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Pier Incident - Okay, I just talked about depth. Shark Cage Fugue - This one is lively and fun. Shark Attack one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Ben Gardner’s Boat - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Montage - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Father and Son - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Into the Estuary is worth the money. Out to Sea - I just love it.
