Since completing 1966’s ‘Barcarole’, James Last fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is no doubt that James Last has talent. I am not a real Classical music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Classics Up To Date’ really is amazing. This is my first James Last Album and i must say i am blown away.
Prisoners’ Choir From Nabucco (2:43) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Hungarian Dance No. 5 - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Waltz In A Flat Major Op. 39 N I just LOVE this mix! March Of The Toreadors From Ca - A strong beat. An Den Fruhling - A catchy, upbeat tune.
