On You Could Have It So Much Better album, Franz Ferdinand have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke . . .’ school of songwriting. Lead single “The Fallen” and “Do You Want To” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is no doubt that Franz Ferdinand has talent. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like You Could Have It So Much Better.
Do You Want To - I like this one. This Boy very upbeat. Walk Away one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Evil and A Heathen - My least favorite song on this album. You’re The Reason I’m Leaving is worth the money. Eleanor Put Your Boots On - a classic song.
